  • I got a Ninja last year. It has a crisper lid. It makes killer chicken wings! And does almost everything else! Slow cooks, boils, sautées, pressure cooks, frys. It’s very useful to me.

  • Why do you keep showing an air fryer interspersed with the pressure cooker?

    j kj k12 օր առաջ
  • Frankly speaking, these instant pots are glorified pressure cookers with all sorts of bells and whistles, but the underlying technology is nothing really new. I can make most dishes perfectly well using my simple 20 year old pressure cooker. End of subject!

  • Some people are just dumb. Instant Pot is an awesome kitchen addition, but it isn't the end all of pressure cookers, stoves and stove tops. I am whole food plant-based vegan and only eat 100% whole grains and IP is a freaking life saver. I also grow about 75% of my own produce and when I have extra beans or peas, potatoes I usually can them, Instant Pot isn't good for that, I use a traditional pressure canner. Traditional pressure canners are perfectly safe as long as you take care of them and in my 56 years the only ones I have ever blow up are the two used in the Boston Marathon attack.

Whatever shown on this video is true. And combined with a Oven Air Fryer, it just makes cooking more easy & fun. Yummy too...

  • A couple of rotisserie chickens, lo sodium chicken broth to cover, a diced onion sauteed till golden brown and a couple of bay leaves. Three hours or so on medium broth setting, natural release. And, you have killer chicken bone broth that's great for my knees!

  • If you have the air fry lid or air fryer, yes you can get crispy potatoes. This video is so full of misinformation. You CANNOT pressure can in the Instant Pot - you can only water bath can. See the Instant Pot Community page on Facebook or the Instant Pot website for more accurate information on all things Instant Pot.

Wayne the barberWayne the barber14 օր առաջ
    • No, it’s not a crockpot. Crockpots cook on lower temps for many hours. Pressure cookers cook under pressure for much shorter times. Some pressure cookers do have a “slow cook” function though.
